About the Study Program
Studij fizioterapije traje četiri godine i nosi 240 ECTS bodova, kroz osam semestara koji kombinuju teoriju, praktičnu nastavu i stručnu praksu u zdravstvenim ustanovama. Program obrazuje kompetentne kadrove za medicinsku rehabilitaciju oboljelih, povrijeđenih i osoba s onesposobljenjem, kao i za preventivne programe u zaštiti zdravlja.
First year
Foundations of the profession: human anatomy and physiology, health protection systems, environmental health, sociology of health, introduction to statistics and informatics, and care in emergency situations.
Second year
Transition to the profession: clinical kinesiology, human body dysfunction, fundamentals of clinical practice, physiotherapy I and II, kinesiotherapy, manual massage, occupational therapy.
Third year
Specialized rehabilitation: orthopedics, traumatology, cardiopulmonary and neurological rehabilitation, physiotherapy in rheumatological rehabilitation, functional aids, physiotherapy in sports and sports injuries.
Fourth year
Consolidation of knowledge and professional practice: pediatric rehabilitation, rehabilitation in inclusive settings, vocational rehabilitation, physiotherapy in gynecology and obstetrics, physiotherapy in geriatric rehabilitation, and two professional internships in healthcare institutions.
Scope of work after graduation
A qualified physiotherapist, working independently or as part of a healthcare team, implements prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation measures for individuals with impairments and disabilities, utilizing methods of kinesiotherapy, physical therapy, and occupational therapy.
Assessment and therapy planning
Assessment of the patient's functional status using objective methods and development of an individual rehabilitation plan, either independently or as part of a team.
Application of therapeutic methods
Izbor i provođenje kineziterapije, fizikalne terapije, okupacione terapije i različitih procedura fizioterapijske rehabilitacije.
Home and out-of-hospital care
Planiranje i provođenje programa fizioterapije u kućnim uvjetima, prilagođenih potrebama pacijenta i porodice.
Education and support
Working with patients and family members to foster an understanding of the therapy, and collaborating with associations for persons with disabilities.
Documentation and Quality
Vođenje pouzdane stručne dokumentacije i praćenje kvalitete rada službe za fizioterapiju.
Working with healthy populations
Učešće u planiranju i implementaciji preventivnih programa usmjerenih na očuvanje i unapređenje zdravlja.
