Library

An integral part of the educational process of the Faculty of Health Studies.

As the Faculty of Health Studies in Sarajevo progressed through the various stages of its development, the Faculty library followed the same path. The library acquired its own premises last year, thereby joining the network of other higher education libraries.

Every higher education library is an integral part of the educational process, meaning that its collection is incorporated into the Faculty's work plan and curriculum. The library's goal is to fulfill the Faculty's established program while also meeting the needs of all its users.

The library holds monographs, medical and bilingual dictionaries, encyclopedias, atlases, domestic and foreign medical journals, as well as master's theses, doctoral dissertations, and undergraduate theses defended at the Faculty. On June 8, 2011, the library became a member of the COBISS.BH library information system, thereby becoming the 46th member of the Virtual Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina and adopting the name Library Information Center (BIC).
