<div class=\"historija-timeline-content\">\n          <h3>Establishment of the Higher Medical School<\/h3>\n          <p>By decision of the Council of the Faculty of Medicine in Sarajevo on May 10, 1973, the Higher Medical School in Sarajevo was established, beginning operations on December 19 of the same year. The school had four tracks: advanced medical, laboratory, sanitary, and radiological technicians.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n      <\/div>\n\n      <div class=\"historija-timeline-item\">\n        <span class=\"historija-timeline-godina\">1974<\/span>\n        <div class=\"historija-timeline-content\">\n          <h3>Inclusion at the University of Sarajevo<\/h3>\n          <p>By a decision of the University of Sarajevo Council on October 22, 1974, the Higher Medical School was incorporated into the University of Sarajevo.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n      <\/div>\n\n      <div class=\"historija-timeline-item\">\n        <span class=\"historija-timeline-godina\">1982<\/span>\n        <div class=\"historija-timeline-content\">\n          <h3>New and discontinued directions<\/h3>\n          <p>Nine years after its founding, a program for senior physical therapy technicians is opened, while in the same year the program for senior sanitary technicians ceases to operate.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n      <\/div>\n\n      <div class=\"historija-timeline-item\">\n        <span class=\"historija-timeline-godina\">1990<\/span>\n        <div class=\"historija-timeline-content\">\n          <h3>Three-year study and thesis<\/h3>\n          <p>The Higher Medical School introduces a three-year program and a requirement to complete a thesis. Beginning with the 1990\/91 academic year, the term &quot;department&quot; replaces &quot;major.&quot;.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n      <\/div>\n\n      <div class=\"historija-timeline-item\">\n        <span class=\"historija-timeline-godina\">2002<\/span>\n        <div class=\"historija-timeline-content\">\n          <h3>Renaming to the Higher School of Health<\/h3>\n          <p>By the decision of the Cantonal Court of Sarajevo on December 12, 2003, the Higher Medical School was renamed the Public Institution &quot;Higher Health School&quot; in Sarajevo. In the 2002\/03 academic year, the first generation of the four-year program was enrolled, which grants the right to equal participation in postgraduate studies, the completion of master&#x27;s and doctoral degrees.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n      <\/div>\n\n      <div class=\"historija-timeline-item\">\n        <span class=\"historija-timeline-godina\">2008<\/span>\n        <div class=\"historija-timeline-content\">\n          <h3>Renaming to the Faculty of Health Studies<\/h3>\n          <p>By the decision of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo of March 5, 2008, the Higher School of Health was renamed the Public Institution &quot;Faculty of Health Studies&quot; in Sarajevo.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n      <\/div>\n\n      <div class=\"historija-timeline-item\">\n        <span class=\"historija-timeline-godina\">2009<\/span>\n        <div class=\"historija-timeline-content\">\n          <h3>Introduction of the Bologna System of Study<\/h3>\n          <p>In the 2009\/10 academic year, the first generation of students studying under the principles of the Bologna Declaration, in a 4+1 year program, was enrolled, as well as the first generation of postgraduate studies for students who had completed their studies under the pre-Bologna program.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n      <\/div>\n\n      <div class=\"historija-timeline-item\">\n        <span
